The direct answer is it depends on what is already working for your clinic. If you have a strong organic presence, the paid traffic amplifies that organic authority. If you need to start building up organic authority, that's where we have to allocate our time and effort to get it to the point where your digital infrastructure can attract and convert the leads into booked patients.
SEO takes time to build through a website audit, content structuring, backlink building and authority for specific search terms that are winnable.
Paid ads like Google will require at least a minimum ad spend of $4.5k for any meaningful progress in this crowded category, our job is to get our expert teams to give you the best shot and running a successful campaign. Most clinics end up focusing on one or two treatments for their main web to revenue source because the economics constrain paid channel spend options.
Our fees will depend on what channels the clinic wants to invest in and scale of campaigns. We charge an upfront monthly recurring based on adspend tiers.
Note: We know other big agencies in the space onboard clients with a lower retainer fee (which makes it attractive to sign up with them) then they charge a separate percentage of ad-spend. We don't do that because for really large budgets beyond 40k per month, it starts to make less sense for the client.
Why we charged fix retainers: The economics to do a full audit, and set up the tracking codes, the conversion event tracking, the QA checks on the entire lead capture funnel is a very intensive and involved exercise to make sure clients are set up for success.. The set up time for good foundations and labour cost for us as an agency is significant during onboarding. And we believe in being upfront with our costing to prospects so their packages are clear and predictable month on month. There are no charge surprises.
